About · Amsterdam studio

Custom apparel,
made on purpose.

LabelLab is a small studio producing custom apparel for brands that care about how their pieces are made — not just what's printed on them. Heavyweight cotton, prints that hold up after fifty washes, no minimums above ten.

We don't run a factory. We run a studio — small batches, hand-picked blanks, prints that survive the wash, and a team small enough to know every order by name.

How we work

Three steps · 14 days average
01 · Pick

Choose your blanks

Every blank in our catalogue is one we've worn, washed, and signed off on ourselves. Organic cotton from 155 to 340 GSM, sourced from European mills we've vetted. Minimum ten pieces per colour, maximum as many as you need.

02 · Print

Upload your artwork

Place your design per garment. Screen-print, embroidery, DTG or full-colour — mix techniques per zone. You'll receive an e-proof within 24 hours. No production starts without your approval.

03 · Deliver

Quality-checked, then shipped

Every piece is inspected before it leaves the studio. Shipped carbon-neutral across EU, UK and USA — tracking sent within hours of dispatch.

Why we started

Built around the blank.

LabelLab started in 2026 with a single idea — most of what makes a printed garment good or bad happens before the print. The weight of the cotton. The way it's spun. How it sits after the fiftieth wash. So we built the studio around the blank first, the print second.

Small on purpose. One team, one studio, one standard. Every blank in the catalogue is one we've worn and signed off on ourselves.

What we believe

A good blank costs more — and lasts longer.

We work with 100% organic combed cotton, ring-spun, pre-shrunk. It costs more per metre but the garment holds its shape after fifty washes instead of ten. The same logic applies to print — water-based inks that cure into the fibre, not plastisol that cracks after a year.

None of this is groundbreaking — it's just what good apparel printing looks like when nobody's cutting corners.

We treat every order as if it's going on our own back. That's the only standard that's ever held up.

How the studio works

One team · Two disciplines
Selection · The blanks

Sourced and signed off.

Every garment in our catalogue went through the same test — we wore it, washed it fifty times, and looked at it again. The ones that came back the same shape made the cut. The ones that didn't, didn't.

Decoration · The print

Done in-house, in Amsterdam.

Screen-print, embroidery, DTG, woven labels, swing tags. Every job is proofed on the actual garment before the run, not on a render. The decoration is where most branded apparel goes wrong, so it's where we put our hands on it.

What we work with

European mills · ready to print
155 GSM

Lightweight jersey

Soft hand, fluid drape. Best for women's tees and summer drops where weight matters.

180 GSM

Mid-weight jersey

Our standard. Holds shape, takes screen-print and DTG cleanly. The everyday workhorse.

220 GSM

Heavyweight jersey

Structured, opaque, doesn't curl. The weight that holds its own on a rack.

340 GSM

Brushed fleece

For hoodies and crewnecks. Heavy, warm, brushed soft inside. Stands up after a winter.
